new media and technology club

This is it...a brainchild for the next academic year. a club.

we need to have a meeting about this so we can start talking about logistics. I already know everything that we need to do to make this club happen. Basically we need a constitution, 15 registered student members a President and Treasurer.

I suggest that we have a meeting on Thursday April 21st after the workshop at 7 p.m.

these are my initial ideas for the club:

1. a forum open to all students at the University who share an interest in media and technology.
2. a collaborative learning environment to discuss (and practice) topics not covered in our classes
3. an organization that provides services to other entities at the University.
4. (this is the big one) a weekly one-hour news program focusing on campus/city information...to be streamed on the Web and on the TV screens
