just thoughts

as for the bulletin board...it's ready to use
http://www.cpcs.umb.edu/cmt/work/forums/index.php

to use the system you have to create an account
http://www.cpcs.umb.edu/cmt/work/forums/register.php

I have created a new forum called media policy 101 - let us start our discussion there

as for training...we probably aren't all going to be together at the same time so my suggestion would be too break it up. Make an appointment with Shannon, make an appointment with me...I'm generally on-campus and available Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings between 10-2ish

as for speakers...David Isenberg - isen @ isen . com
http://www.isen.com/

David Weinberger - although he strangely reminds me of Jason in 15 years with short hair. - he may not be great for this event but certainly for future events that have anything to do with knowledge management and the implications of Internet on society
http://www.hyperorg.com/blogger/

for our week long session, I spoke to David, who may be interested in doing some presenting but he is only available the first week in November. so this puts us at a little challenge...Fred needs to OK the final decision so...?

in thinking about our outward facing presents to the world...take a look at this - this may be much larger then we are actually talking about, but maybe CPCS could think about this.
http://moodle.org/

I went to interesting event yesterday about logs in week he's in the business world. Some of it was kinda lame...in fact this dude from MIT (CEO of .LRN http://dotlrn.org/) was super lame...puts what it was quite interesting.especially how to actually use aboard as a knowledge management system and the communication tool. definitely change the way that I'm thinking about blob(g)s

Danielle, you might be interested in something called the Center for 21st-century skills based in Connecticut...

if you like there was more but I have to go...have a great weekend everyone!
